"The Lady of Shalott" is a lyrical ballad by the English poet Alfred Tennyson. It tells the tragic story of a young noblewoman stranded in a tower up the river from Camelot. And she has the hots for Lancelot. Based on a Feminist's POV, escaping from the tower allows for the Lady of Shalott to emotionally break free and come into terms with female sexuality.
Well, I can't tell you that will happen here with this IOD stamp. But I can tell you this one is complicated and worth it. Spend some time with The Lady and get to know her real well. I like stamping black on white and using water color to fill in the petals and leaves.
