Q: Sharon, how do I take care of my DIY paint brushes?
A: It's easy peasy especially when you are using DIY Products! With the DIY wax, I wash my brush after I’m all done waxing. The wax comes out easily after I use a little gentle clothes detergent on them. If you know you will be using your brush again soon for more waxing, you could wrap it up. I’ve actually just left my brush unwrapped for a few days before waxing again and it was fine. I do use my Multitasker for wax and paint, so I generally clean in between.
Top Coats are a different story. Wash your brushes immediately after using any top coat. The fine hair bristles will be stuck together forever if you don’t. Ask me how I know!
