What's the Diff Between Big Top and DIY Liquid Patina?

Both DIY Big Top and DIY Liquid Patina are popular choices for sealing and protecting surfaces. However, there are some key differences between the two products.

DIY Big Top is a sealant that creates a durable, waterproof finish. It is commonly used on wood, metal, concrete, and other surfaces to provide long-lasting protection from water, UV rays, and other environmental factors. DIY Big Top is a clear coat that dries to a hard, glossy finish, which can enhance the natural beauty of the surface it is applied to.

On the other hand, DIY Liquid Patina is a more versatile product. It can be used as a sealer, topcoat, or tinted glaze on a variety of surfaces, including wood, plaster, glass, and metal. DIY Liquid Patina provides a matte finish that can be further customized with the addition of pigments, glitter or other additives.

In terms of application, DIY Big Top requires fewer coats than DIY Liquid Patina, making it a quicker solution for larger projects. However, DIY Liquid Patina dries faster than DIY Big Top, making it a better choice for smaller projects where speed is a priority.

Ultimately, the choice between DIY Big Top and DIY Liquid Patina depends on the specific needs and preferences of the user. Both products are effective sealants that can provide years of protection and beauty when applied properly.

Big Top is a water based top coat, non yellowing and high durability with a satin sheen. Doesn't stink when you apply. Perfect for your own created wall hangings and home decor that won't be handled much. Water-based finish for interior and protected exterior wood surfaces. High bond ability and fast drying characteristics. Non-toxic and natural raw materials presenting no harm to the environment or waterways.

Liquid Patina is the swiss army of top coats. A beautiful low sheen durable brush on finish, the look of wax without all the work. You can use it as a glaze, putting down and sealing decoupage paper, transfer gel, and top coat. Use liquid patina instead of wax for a simple, durable finish for indoors & outside. If you create art to sell, display it in an antique store, you and your customers will appreciate this top coat.
