Celebrating Milestones in a Small Business
If you had told me 3 years ago in April of 2020 that in the future I would be running a small business selling art supplies and have stickers, I would have looked at you funny and the conversation would have gone something like this:
First of all me? Run a small business? Uh, no thanks. I work full time and have 2 kids to put through college. Also, there is this thing called Covid shutting DOWN businesses. Not to mention, I have no idea how to even start a small business much less run one. You cray cray?
And yet here I am. Thanks to Covid I actually was in a place to be inspired to start a small business. (Thanks Iron Orchid Designs!) Fast forward to a couple of months ago when I got not just one type of stickers but two and started adding them to packaging and give aways. I was inspired to have stickers because I hired a designer who created a new beautiful logo that I wanted to share with the world and my customers. (That was probably the bigger milestone, huh?)
But it wasn't till yesterday it dawned on me while I was packing orders, that I have a roll of stickers. (Two of them!) It's a milestone along the way to who-knows-what? What other future business milestone will I hit and be sharing?
The sticker realization was an a-ha moment for me. What other milestones have I run by as I have been building this small business? There are quite a few that I have recognized along the way, but haven't stopped to embrace. So, I'm stopping now to appreciate my stickers and what they symbolize to me.
And if you want an Accidental ArtMaker sticker in your order, just let me know if you want Pink or Turquoise!

How does one go about hiring someone to help you design stickers? I need to do that!
